The short version: Morning Brief Vision has no account, no
server of ours and no tracking. We collect nothing. Everything the app knows
about you stays on your Apple Vision Pro.
Who we are
Morning Brief Vision is published by Devpool (France). This policy explains
what the app accesses, why, and what happens to that information.
What the app accesses, and why
Calendar (optional): to display today's events and include them in your spoken briefing. Read on the device, never transmitted.
Location (optional): to fetch the local weather. Used only at the moment of the request, never stored, never shared with us.
Home and work addresses (optional): to estimate your commute. Typed by you, geocoded on the device with Apple frameworks, saved only in the app's local storage.
Stock tickers and news topics: your preferences, saved only in the app's local storage.
Notifications (optional): a single local daily reminder that you schedule yourself. Local means it is created on the device, with no push server involved.
What leaves the device
To show fresh content, the app makes anonymous network requests directly to
data providers. These requests are the same kind any weather or news app makes,
and they are never linked to an account or an identity because none exists:
Weather: Apple WeatherKit (or the Open-Meteo public service as fallback), queried with coordinates only.
News: the public RSS feeds of the sources you selected.
Markets: public Yahoo Finance endpoints, queried with ticker symbols only.
Maps and routes: Apple Maps, for the commute estimate and the route display.
Each provider processes the request under its own privacy policy. We add no
identifiers, no advertising IDs and no analytics to any of these requests.
What we collect
Nothing. We operate no server for this app. We have no
analytics SDK, no crash reporting SDK from third parties, no advertising and
no data broker relationships. We cannot see your calendar, your location, your
addresses, your tickers or anything else, and we do not want to.
The spoken briefing
Your daily summary is generated by Apple Intelligence entirely on the device.
The text of your briefing is never sent anywhere.
Your choices
Every permission is optional and the app works with any subset of them.
You can revoke Calendar, Location or Notification access anytime in the system Settings.
Deleting the app deletes everything it stored.
Children
The app is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, children included.
Changes to this policy
If the app's behavior ever changes, this page will be updated before the
change ships, with the date above revised.
